Lightroom support for Pixel Shift RAWs

From what I have researched, the latest version of LR supports PS RAWs. I was also told the embedded RAWs get "combined" on import so to speak. And the one caveat is you need to apply a large amount of sharpening.

Can someone walk me through there typical process for handling PS RAWs in LR?

And has anyone compared the in-camera versus LR PS processing? I just wonder if the magic algorithms done by Pentax in-camera are equivalent to Adobe's magic algorithms. One would absolutely hope that they are!

Last time I checked, the colors in Pentax's algorithm looked better, and it was able to do a better job of dealing with fuzzy areas. A very high degree of RAW sharpening was needed to get the full benefit of PSR.

Lightroom will need to be updated to support the K-1's new motion correction feature, which automatically detects movement and reverts to a single frame in affected areas.

Would you happen to know a good starting point to set the sharpening in LR? I will run some tests this weekend and compare the two, interesting point on color.

Do you mean in-camera, or with the supplied software?

Either one, they use the same algorithms.
