Many People start to give away your Pentax K3 and K3II for a New Pentax K1, Why?

Many People start to give away your Pentax K3 and K3II for a New Pentax K1 Why?
Since Pentax K3II came and Now Pentax K1, many people start to give away your Pentax K3 like nothing. Pentax K3 still a excellent camera and is very said this depreciation from many Pentaxians.
I know that Full frame is excellent idea like 35mm in old times, but APS-C CMOS Sensor frame is not so bad..
Just remember, Pentax K3 price drop a lot (Around $600) and Pentax K1 costs around $1700, this means: $1100 for just replace APS-C CMOS Sensor frame for a Full Frame!!

Welcome to a market where supply severely overshoots demand.

Givers-away, I'm here if you feel the need to give away your K-3/K-3II to a loving home. It/they will be treated with the utmost care and respect. PM me, please!

Edit: Dang, beat to the punch by IgorZ. Still, I'm here and I care.

Huh? Let me know if I am way off base, but I will take a stab at this: Could it be that they want to and in some cases have been waiting years for the Pentax full frame? Can't recall anyone saying the K-3 was "so bad". People buy new appliances, new cars, new houses, and new cameras all the time. If you are happy with your K-3, good for you. I know I am enjoying my new K-1, and bet others are too.

The K-3 is discontinued, so we're seeing the price depreciation. It's a fine camera.
My K3II is nearly new, purchased in December. I haven't sold my venerable K5 though, it's been quite the workhorse and has its scars to show it.

Probably because the changes aren't limited purely to the sensor size - there appear also to be noteworthy gains in image-stabilisation and autofocus capability.

No doubt if a new APS-C DSLR had been released with these other improvements, people would have bought that just as eagerly.

My K-3 is still serving me just fine and is no worse off now that the 'going rate' has come down a bit. Nonetheless, I'd be happy
to add a K-3II to the stable should anyone feel the need to give it away. Third in line behind Igorz and TomTom, of course.

Genki, I'm not sure I understand the root of your concern. Are you worried >your< K-3 won't have value once you decide
to sell it, because others were quicker to the punch?

Well, I am keeping my K-3 for telephoto work. The images taken with the D FA150-450 where I crop alot are more highres taken with the K-3. The K-1 is not a substitute for the K-3 per say. They are good at what they do but they need each other...

The K1 is 2 cameras in one, a lowlight marvel with landscape/portrait emphasis in FF MODE and a handy sporty telephoto mode called aps-c.Video that's good enough for most screens.Coming from a K50 I don't know what the K(7/5/3s) do, I'm sure all are good & i'll keep one of my K50s but it wont see a lot of action.

Only a 2 week owner and just play round fun testing but later today a serious shoot, come on sun, rise and shine!

But the crop mode pix from the K-1 are at a lower resolution than the "regular" APS-C pix from the wonderful K-3, right?
