What is this little square black spot on Silver K-3?

I noticed a small square black spot on my Silver K-3. It is near the top left of the lens mount (front). Obviously you wouldn't see it on a black body, but I've looked at other silver K-3's and they all seem to have it. Does anyone know what it is? thanks

When you say top left - is that looking at the camera from the front?

Is so, according to the owner's manual, it's the Internal microphone.
