I went from k30 to k3ii, the difference in quality of photo was amazing. The main thing I miss is the pop up flash.

I'd rather bring an OGPS than an OCF or vice versa.

In the Philippines, it is impossible to resell Pentax items.
Than why is Pentax so expensive in the Philippines, both new and second hand compared to Australia, US etc?

It is kind of ironic as many Pentax lenses and bodies are made in the Philippines.

True for brand new, but the story is different for second hand items which are really low since there about a few hundreds of users of Pentax in the country including the film users.

I wish I know the answer. And this isn’t helping for the brand either. Some brands even offers 24 months installment plans (thru credit cards) for their cameras but for Pentax it isn’t possible.

my vote was for an on camera flash so I choose the K 3 and then got the O-GPS1

the O-GPS1 is a lot smaller and lighter than any flash unit I am aware of

Pentax O-GPS1 reviews - Pentax Camera Accessory Review Database

and once you learn how to properly twist the camera with the unit attached, it works for me all of the time without having to worry about timing or exposure factor or anything else.

thanks

quick confession

with very little exception, I don't use flash at all

all my outdoor shots, and I rarely shoot indoors, is done with natural lighting

I really should expand my photographic horizons since my K 3 and K 5 Ii have on board flash and I two nice flash units: a Pentax AF160FC Ring Flash and a Metz 52 AF-1 digital flash
