The in-lens image stabilisation of my Sigma 150-500mm lens going hand in hand with that in the K3 body enables shake-free hand-held shots in 'safari' conditions. This photo taken in Wilpattu National Park (N of Colombo, Sri Lanka) on max zoom ISO 1600. Everyone raves about the traditional southern National Parks like Yala and Uduwalewe but since the end of the civil war the less visited and better preserved parks in what was a war zone are well worth a punt. We also saw Leopard in Wilpattu without hoards of safari vehicles pursuing the poor creature around mercilessly.
