K3 temporary 'Glitch'

Taking images to back up claim against Hermes for damaged items using K3 and Sigma 105 macro - found I'd left the camera on continuous drive mode after shooting BIF. I was using TV setting, and when I tried to use four-way controller to change Drive Mode - zilch. No response. Continued shooting, then tried again. Still zilch. Then tried SV, AV and TaV - worked fine with each of these, but TV - no. Powered off and on, then went through U1, U2 etc, and was able to use 4-way controller every time - including in TV !

Not a major issue, but interesting - has anyone else experienced this ?

I have had some odd behavior now and then not too disimilar to yours. Usually when a bettery is getting low as most of my batteries are old so I think that may be most of the issue. Turning it off and on seems to resolve it or putting in a new fresh battery as well.

Had a similar issue with the 4-way controller of my K-70 once. Different camera but still... I can almost definitely say it was a low battery thing. Changing the battery is all it took.

I will remember to keep a well charged backup with me.

Thanks for the suggestion - battery was charged before taking camera out on Tuesday, less than 100 shots usage. JOOTT, I suppose (Just One Of Those Things !).
