Also, I was under the impression that Technicolor pulled the plug on cinestyle, and it's now a defunct product.
No, it is still available for download on their website, which is great.

What is the use off putting in a usb-3 connector when you are only going to use usb 2.0 speed? The usb-cable is not even included according to the "In the box" page. An when it can't do super speed then can you still call it usb-3? I'm hoping for an overly eager webmaster who put a unchecked translation of the specs on the site.

It has 4K HDR Interval Movies. That is pretty cool, right?

Video Enhancements

The K-3 has just about everything one would expect of a modern HDSLR: external microphone support, a headphone jack, manual video controls, video autofocus, focus peaking, easy access to video mode, and a broad selection of framerates.
We have confirmed that the K-3 supports focus peaking in video mode, and this feature will surely go together well with its larger LCD.

Again, RAW is for stills :-)

Internal 4K is interesting, but what are restrictions, format? Or they just mean 4K timelapse from still shots here?

Yeah, focus peaking, and AF are both supported!!! I hope they work really well ... can't wait for a detailed review.

For hobbyists, perhaps, but it's a bit disappointing that it doesn't offer extensive overcranking abilities (just 720p60), and the budding filmmaker still needs to know about bitrates, chroma subsampling, exposure range, RAW video, etc... before choosing Pentax ahead of the industry leaders Canon and Panasonic.

I have huge doubts that they work well. You can check D7100 to get ideas about AF performance.

AF in latest Canon work well, but it is due to their unique sensor.

Yes. Now we need clear explanation how it works.

As I understand interval is interval between stills, and recording time just defines total resulting movie length. So it is bunch of MJPEG stills to make timelapse video

Pentax Q has a feature "Interval Movie" which automatically compiles the interval shots into an AVI. I suspect that the K-3 Interval Movie mode builds off the Q. It's a nice feature and workflow timesaver but not a killer app. Prior to that, you could shoot an interval sequence and create a movie with an editor like Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere.

Yep. This is that I mean. So it is not really anything big to have it at 4K.

Other modes seems to be still lacking, as well as build in mono mike.
