Congratulations. I'm sure you'll love the K-3II and grip. It's a fantastic setup.
Just to add balance and re-state what has already been said, there are many satisfied owners of the K-50 who've yet to have any hint of the aperture control mechanism failing. It has happened in enough documented cases to be a known weakness, but it doesn't appear to be widely prevalent. I do think you're better off with the K-3II, but most existing K-50 owners will more than likely continue to get sterling service from their cameras
