I'm so excited about mine getting shipped, but I'm still back in the Philippines so sounded alright to me, though I would seriously like to intercept it here before it even go to Australia! I'd like to visit the factory here!!!

Interesting. I expect folks who pre-ordered from retailers when their listings did mention a FluCard would still get a Flucard though. Otherwise misrepresentation.

The AU Pentax store still lists the K-3 as coming with free FLU Card:

DCW don't seem to know whether a FLU card is included or not, if not they won't get my business.

The custom Pentax FLUcard is required for camera control functionality, though any eye-fi wireless card, presumably including the generic FLUcard, can be used for image download. So states Ricoh's published specifications on the K-3 and numerous posts on PF. Adam reported that the Ricoh USA reps at Photoplus stated the Pentax FLUcard would not be available until December.

It's not just any retailer - CR Kennedy, the official distributor, decided to include the standard card with all kits. Whether or not this has been communicated or whatever by all retailers, apparently not...

I sent them email about black body only so that is all i can comment on
but considering that their own shop front page states 1st nov i got to question if they have any clue at all, not to mention it took them days to reply to simple question......
