Rang DCW Today they advised the K-3 will arrive on the 20th Nov, asked about FLU card they didn't know what it was!
Dropped into CRK Port Melb as I was in the area and was advised all stock was gone and don't know when next shipment is arriving.
They said I should perhaps ring Teds or Michaels, rang Ted's they didn't know when stock was arriving.
Might order one from Camera Warehouse for $1295.

Mine too, in Canberra as well.

Flash works fine, diopter seems fine, never used a leveller and don't know where it is (yet) so can't comment on that.

Initial impressions, VERY good. It looks, feels, and operates like a MUCH more refined machine than my K20d & K10d. Control functions significantly different so I'm just about to explore and identify all the key functions I use regularly. Discovery and testing all the new bells and whistles will most likely take several months.

Looks like we are all going to have a great weekend.

External flash actually works as it should ie get consistent results. Might not go manual flash for a while.

As soon as the camera arrived the weather went crap. had fun doing raindrops but did get one pic with massive purple fringing.

Love the new AF.

Talk about frustrated, I was lucky enough to have Friday off from my work ( a 2.5 hour drive from home) after a week of horse racing in Melbourne I needed the rest. Sure enough tonight they rang to say I had a parcel just arrived from C R Kennedy. Noooooooooooo! Guess who is going for a drive tomorrow to collect my silver baby.

My "PENTAX K-3 Premium Silver Edition" came in today (heheh, reading off the box

).

Funny thing though, Michelle from CRK emailed me a consignment tracking number. So I checked it up, and it already said it was delivered at home... well, at least I got some heads up

Although, I only just got home now - was at a late Friday night birthday party
