Who will pre-order their K3

Well I have just sold one of my K5lls's and pre-order the K3. I am now left waiting for Christmas like a child until sometime in November when it arrives.

I pre-ordered the silver special from the Pentax webstore. Totally on impulse. Am now second and third guessing that decision. Do I really need another camera?

I pre-ordered the silver special edition too. It was only afterwards I found out that only 2,000 are being manufactured, and only 50 are coming to the UK. I'm now wondering if I will bring myself to ever use it. It's a real collector's camera. I better get a black one as well...

I was almost preordering silver...held my desicion and will get black with 18-135 zoom instead for almost same prize...

I broke down and ordered the Silver, but I just don't like the look of the siver. I cancelled my order and ordered the black with the FLUCARD and an extended warranty. Always wise to go for the extended warranty for a new product. If it has the same problem twice in two years, I get a new body, hopefully one that has the kiniks worked out. I would hve gone 3, but what are the odds I won't want a different camera in 3 years?

I pre-ordered and then got cold feet and cancelled. Today I did the right thing and ordered one up through Pentax. Hopefully they're not all sold out. I need to sell some cameras.....quickly.

This has not scared me and I will pre-order the K3 as soon I get some replies to my emails. I am one of the excited pentax people who just has to have the best pentax. The camera will probably save me from buying a full on video camera that would be a higher price.

I figure the first batch will be sold out with pre orders, that's happened with the K10 and I had to wait for the second batch. So I will probably place my order this week if not today.

I have pre-ordered, however, this time from a local dealer rather than form on on-line supplier. Had to pay up front, but don't mind that. I get it early from this major BC dealer ...sounds like I may be #1 on the list.

I'll wait until I see reviews and some people start posting some real world images. In the Spring I will make a decision and hope the K-1 is announced in Feb. See if there are any QC issues or banding, or major mistakes.
