Apparently the FLUcard is a webserver and wifi hotspot. No app needed to view or download images, but FLU makes apps to simplify things. My guess is that the Pentax FLUcard will use standard protocols to communicate to the camera via the webserver
for controls like adjusting shutter, aperture, etc. EDIT: Maybe not. I'm finding more "official" information that says the Pentax FLUcard and app will only allow remote shutter release and viewing images after shooting, not remote live view or full tethered control. I hope this is wrong, but somehow...
