Silver K-3 Camera Porn

The silver edition of the K-3 is already available for pre-order and it comes with a grip and a leather strap, making the final price very close to what a black K-3 + a grip would cost. Not a bad deal if you're into collecting these things!

Limited to 2000 worldwide; a couple hundred will be reaching the states.

Why is the price a B&H and Adorama $100.00 dollars higher than the buy it now price of $1499.00 on the Ricoh site?

The ignorant chat-addicts at dpr are ridiculing the silver body, especially with the 'stubby silver lens' attached. Ah, what they don't know about those stubby lenses...

That might be some sort of deal, or just a mistake. The spec sheets says the MAP price is 1599

If I wanted a new camera, I'd be all over this. I hope Ron Hendriks gets one to go with his "bling-bling" K-5 Silver Edition.

I wonder if that's real aluminum or sliver paint? My guess would be the latter, but they did use brass in the MX-1.

Technically speaking, it's an anodized powder coat, but there is a real magnesium metal shell under there, reinforced with a stainless-steel chassis.

It's the same coat featured on the silver k-7/k-5.

The silver has a funny name on the LCD back side.
while the black one has correct spelled name.

Will it be corrected?

I think they will both say "Ricoh" on the back. Aw well!

Is it bad that I'm tempted by the Ltd. Silver Edition just for the sweet looking leather strap? Not 100% sure if I like the way black lenses look on a silver body. Anyone have a photo of their Silver Ltd. with a DA* 50-135 attached?
