You know that FLUCARD 16gb can allow you to take pics by smartphone by wifi.

Actually, Olympus was developing digital viewfinder which is use as a sunglasses.

I imagine it's not nearly as good as the Oculus Rift, but that's pretty innovative.

Oculus is for gaming things.

Oculus can be used for whatever. They even have a demo where it simulates an iMax sized movie theater. They are supposedly adding an external view cam as well. They both look to be about the same size. Of course the Oculus doesn't have connectivity built in.

I could see this being useful for Quadcopter piloting like the DJ Phantom with a gimbal fitted GoPro - but not for wandering about with a dSLR and a VR screen strapped to your head.
