Well it inspired these guys.

"Myxomatosis"

by

Radiohead

The mongrel cat came home
Holding half a head
Proceeded to show it off
To all his new found friends
He said I been where I liked
I slept with who I like
She ate me up for breakfast
She screwed me in a vice
But now
I don't know why
I feel so tongue-tied
I sat in the cupboard
And wrote it down real neat
They were cheering and waving
Cheering and waving
Twitching and salivating like with myxomatosis
But it got edited ed up
Strangled beaten up
Used in a photo in time magazine
Buried in a burning black hole in devon
I don't know why I feel so tongue-tied
Don't know why
I feel
So skinned alive.
My thoughts are misguided and a little naive
I twitch and I salivate like with myxomatosis
You should put me in a home or you should put me down
I got myxomatosis
I got myxomatosis
Yeah no one likes a smart ass but we all like stars
But that wasn't my intention, I did it for a reason
It must have got mixed up
Strangled beaten up
I got myxomatosis
I got myxomatosis
I don't know why I
Feel so tongue-tied

Yeah, some Brit brought them over because he wanted to enjoy some hunting - I don't think he realised his 24 little pets would go on to transform a whole continent

That reminds me of my little private pet theory of why the Chinese are eating dogs. When Italian national Marco Polo went over for a flying visit he told them all about how much he liked eating carne (Italian for meat). The Chinese mistook that for cane (Italian for dog) - a bit bewildered they tried it anyway and enjoyed it so much they never stopped

The original Dakotans - Lakotans - and the Cheyenne loved puppy-paw soup for feasts. Maybe it starts in North America. But they did not take snapshots with the livE HociR.

Man! Shut it down before I could have any fun! That's ok, I'll just go back to the World At War series with Sir Lawrence Olivier. Top notch production from 1974. Love history! especially the obscure stuff!
I could have brought up the life of my friend's dad, but that would violate most of the modulator's edict and get me banned! Too sad since he was awesome and people should know!

Actually, it's the Koreans who like dog. Lots of Korean restaurants in China that serve dog. In China, it's best to think of all meat as some variety of chicken.

I like meat, but I've never had dog. I also like chicken, pork and other vegetables.
Horse is pretty good too.

And just how do you explain their affinity for cat cuisine?
