I wish there was some way to emphasis the wording of the original post. The edited version simply does not capture the eloquent bluntness of the original.

Steve
Well, I had the first post after his and I quoted it. Not sure if I deleted any of it, but I don't think so.

And who said this thread was all silliness?

Steve
I know Elijah Tigullaraq well; we're related somehow by marriage and we're both Coroners. Handy if a neighbor eats too much igunaq. But maybe he's only talking about men, size-wise. My wife stands 4'9" on her best days and eats igunaq like candy.
She uses my old cast-off K5; won't let her touch the K3 since it is obviously isn't up to standard.

Well, there is, but I don't think it would be appropriate for me to do it.
Of course not that would be like toppling a rock in a utah park or shooting out a fresnel lens in an Oregon light house, sheer vandalism of an important treasured monument.

Satire used intentionally to possibly call attention to the sad state of respect for national treasures in the United States.

Now that this has gone over 1500 replies, it occurs to me that we must adopt a new (well, actually amend the current) Universal Reply. I propose that we adopt "My K-3 says Ricoh on it, so I had a cheese sadwich" as the official PF universal reply.

Broke my glasses today. Wearing my prescription sunglasses. Thought you should know. (They're not Pentax lenses).

At the eye specialist the other day, the high tech machine they used to assess my eyes was NOT a PENTAX or a RICOH. PENTAX/RICOH is DOMED. DOMED, I tell you.

Actually, it was a Zeiss, which gave me great confidence.....

That, and the cheese they gave me on the way out.

That wasn't you in the grocery store this morning, was it? Guy cut in front of me in the "12 items or less" line, and said "EXCUSE ME, I was here first" (I'd been in line for several minutes before he arrived.) The lady in front of us looked at me like "no, he wasn't", but it wasn't worth an argument. Given the trouble he had operating the credit card reader with his glasses on, he might NOT have seen me when he walked up. I didn't check to see if they said RICOH on the back.

That's not important, do they say RICOH on them? That's what's important

My grilled cheese sandwich for lunch today had "Ricoh" on the melted cheese when I looked inside. And I don't have a K-3. Pentax is DOOMED!!

Must have been the Pepper Jack.

So I guess this means that I will have a K-3? Someday? Do I have that right?

But will the K-3 have "Cheese" on it? This is getting harder to figure out.

I thought the twelve days of Specials were over. Sorry - didn't mean to butt in.

Pentax tattooed on my forehead, Ricoh on the back. So it should only bother THoog.
