You don't? You must be way inland then?

I do have a kit, but that stuff, definitely not in it, laugh. Mostly it's cat food, kitty litter, a bucket, Underwood, snacks, lots of crackers, trail mix, cereal, lots of chocolate, Coke in cans, and jugs of water, ramen noodles, sterno and a fondue pot for cooking in, paper bowls, etc, necessary medical stuff, flash lights, duct tape, plastic bags, a sleeping bag, stuff like that. I'd also take a couple of my best dolls that can't be replaced, my DVD binders, cause ditto. Some crystals, my favorites, my yoga mat, some blocks, some clothes. I'd take my computers, tablets, and my gear boxes too. The rest, I'd miss if it got spoiled, but likely I could replace it so no worries. Just what fits in the car and will keep me amused and/or going, you know?
Technically we're supposed to leave if one hits here but it's hard to do where I am if you have pets and I'm just not the type to leave mine behind. There is a local hotel that doesn't mind them. If it got really bad we'd head there rather than stay in the tin can house but I'm not leaving my pets, no way and the shelters here they just don't want them. I'd prefer the hotel, but otherwise I'd just head for higher ground, live in my car, camp out first. I've got tablets and a car charger, worst comes to worst I'd still be amused and dry and the kits would be safe too.
