IMO, squirrels taste best stewed in a pot with thick gravy, cooked to the point that the meat falls right off of the bones.

And, don't eat the backyard city squirrels. You don't know what they've been eating.

Is it ok to talk about microwave popcorn in this thread?

Funny how they took a healthy snack and, for the sake of convenience, made it as healthy as velveeta.

I hope I haven't posted this before, but ... when you're done preparing your squirrel stew and dumplings, take the 'hull' and send it to this guy - he'll put it to good use:

@ ChristianRock Some of the folks here would probably eat the velveeta on the popcorn.

You guys are funny! ...but you won't be laughing long, Otis is having his Secretary of Squirrels to take names here....his Army will handle the rest!

I've seen that serious Otis look before....just before his Army guys ate the wiring harness on my Jeep at a cost of $1200. .......and all I did was say that Otis was looking a little "large" lately. He did slim down, but it was too late for me....

Serious Otis......Beware!

Regards!

I've been working on crossbreeding carrier pigeons with red shoulder hawks. They'll then be coming for the army of squirrels and bringing them back to me and Tina's dumpling stew-pot.

Ha - in the time it takes Otis and his army to cross the ocean I'll have rallied the red squirrels of Scotland. I will have to intercept him and his landing force at the coast though, otherwise he might link up with the grey squirrels of Scotland who by now outnumber their red cousins by about 2:1.
