So it is really nice to come to this thread and enjoy myself discussing important things like cheese sandwiches with bacon. .....
This thread is cathartic. (In the psychological sense anyway. Hopefully not in the physiological sense.) It must not die. Ever!

I am putting this thread back on-topic with 3 reasons for not getting a K-3:
1) It can't slice cheese
2) It can't fry bacon
3) It becomes "last year's model" and no longer takes good photos on January 1

Yes, when IS Pentax going to issue a new "flagship" camera? The K-3 is so two months ago...

Hey! Don't forget MothRa! (or was MothRa the Anti-Gozirra?). Then there's Rodan, Destroyah, Battra, Mecha Gozirra and Megalon.

And which one had the Thermo-Nuclear Death Breath? (IOW ate too much Limburger).
Mothra was supposed to be one of the good guys, I think. But the annoying twins (faeries?) made it seem otherwise.

Not to mention the various TV-series (Ultraman, Super Sentai, etc.) guys in rubber suits that also destroyed Tokyo. They were pretty cheesy tho' - Japanese cheese, at that.

+1 I agree. I will never look at cheese, bacon or squirrels the same way again.

Well the Doctor asks every time I go in if I drink coffee. I tell him one cup a day and he just frowns and gives me that disapproving Doctor Look. He also asks if I drink alcohol and I tell him "one beer with pizza on Friday". Then he yells at me for eating pizza. Oddly, no comment on the beer. Maybe I'll cut out pizza and drink more beer.

On a brighter note I had a ham, egg and cheese sandwich at Starbucks this morning. Apparently "she who minds the menu" did not catch that ham and bacon are related. Of course she had bacon, but I'm not allowed bacon, so I got the ham. It actually looked like what they call Canadian Bacon (not sure if it's from Canada or if Canadians ever heard of it) but it was tasty. It was so good that while eating it I never once worried about the horrible defect on the back LCD of my k-3.

Nope and nope, except when going south. We didn't call it Canadian bacon even if it came from Canadian pigs. I imagine the term "Canadian bacon" was somebody's idea of exotic marketing. Unless something has changed in the last three decades, bacon in Canada is pretty much the same as its US counterpart.

So causing stress and discomfort to small animals amuses you, huh? Yeah, that's something to be proud of. I guess everyone has his own definition of hilarious.

Yes to your question. Would you rather I get snickers shooting them with a gun??? Besides they're the little terrorists that bomb my car with nuts and sticks!! Not to mention the damage to my garden and lawn!!!

Squirrels are pests. Fortunately, I have had far fewer problems since I got two outdoor cats. They are serial killers with fur!

No kidding! Nikon releases a new model at each price level every three months. Pentax can and should do better than that!
