Searched "K3" Got a Panda on a leash and the message - "We know. We're fixing it!"
Well, post an image to Flickr from your new Ricoh...err Pentax K-3 and see how the camera is identified. Then click through to see where you go!

For the rest of you, I would suggest trying to find the K-3 using the Flickr Camera Finder:

A friend once described the difference between a dog and a cat as follows: you call a dog, it perks up, and happily runs towards you, wanting to hug and kiss (OK, lick) you to death. You call a cat, and it turns its head towards you, and has a look on its face that clearly says "you talking to me???"

Yep, lots of search results. Unfortunately those are based on information in the post that is why there are so many pictures of K-3 cameras.. Now go to one of those images and on the right hand side you will see:
Taken on <some date>
Ricoh IMAGING COMPANY, LTD. Pentax K-3
The camera identification is taken directly from the EXIF. Click on "Ricoh IMAGING COMPANY, LTD. Pentax K-3" (it is a link) and it should take you to a page with stats and other photos taken with the same camera. Instead it takes you to this page:

Flickr: Camera Finder: Ricoh

Look Ma! No K-3! Apparently Flickr has no mapping for the camera ID from the EXIF to the camera stats database.

Dogs come when they're called. Cats take a message and get back to you later.

On the OP Topic (but jacking the thread)

Why I won't buy a K3.

Santa left one on my doorstep last night. Really. A completely, totally, unexpected surprise gift.
