Do NOT bring up the FF* unicorn ... remember, we've only seen it in plastic under bullet-proof glass.

Nah, I'm not one to bring up anything Family Friendly. Even if the plastic version is out

Oh, but, oh, I saw a 6x7 up for sale locally, for about $1000 - including the double worth of lenses. The temptation...

You will be proud of me. At the Poitiers swap there was a mint 67 set-up with original case for 700€.

I told the owner that it was very "beau-tiful" and went no further.

How's that for some resistance ...

Not sure. Justine is 14 today and we are going to a Japanese restaurant to celebrate.

It was her choice and I am wandering if they have bacon on the menu ...

Trying to be gentle here, but... What kind of upbringing have you given her??!

Well, you could always ask for a bacon sushi...?

If you're asking that, I'd really like to know what you think my parents did to me

Sad thing is, two of those guys are now practising psychologists....
Having known and worked with many Psychologists and Psychiatrists in my years as a medic, I can honestly that I don't find that particularly surprising.

I guess those guys are in a position to understand how much some people need psychological help.

Yeah, I think it's the same principle as kids who survive cancer, or a terrible accident later becoming doctors because of it.

Careful there, as someone involved in the field I can assure you that my fellow students and I are perfectly normal, sane people. At least that's what the voices keep telling me. And you don't question the voices - you just don't.

You're right. Your boring neighbour will know, too. Next time he bores you with an endless monologue just interrupt him with "Sorry, I've got to go. The voices tell me I need to go clean the shotgun."

I guarantee you that he won't question the voices.
