Damn , she was a good cook.........Drunk Drivers just plain (((SUCK))) !
I'm sorry for your loss Make her version once in a while in her honour

Your poached egg with butter reminds me of another version I liked as a child and teenager - 'Ei im Glas', literally 'Egg in the glass'. Just soft boil an egg, peel it, put it in a glass, add a bit of salt, pepper and butter, then mash everything together like a maniac. Sounds savage, tastes great.

All this talk of eggs has me thinking that an omelet sounds good for supper.

The baby blue dates to the 1960's.
I have 6 kettles, but some folks are hardcore collectors and very jealous of the color selection they have in Europe.
Since they are made in the USA, it makes no sense to not offer them here.
Here's one such collection:

Didn't mean to hijack this thread into something other than its intended purpose.
Interesting! We can get blue, the dark green and maroon, along with black. I've never seen the other colours. Six kettles! You can cook for quite a crowd then.

Too much talk of eggs. Dinner last night was rump steak, medium rare, with roasted jacket potatoes with mushroom sauce made from fresh foraged mushrooms and green beans to satisfy the health police (my wife).

Would anyone other than me and Rupert eat this?
Today's lunch, fried garlic Spam, pork & beans, and Velveeta queso blanco flatbread pizza.

Just needed a few dashes of Texas Pete hot sauce to set it right.

A really hungry bear just coming out of hibernation, maybe.
Spam and Velveeta shouldn't be in the same county, let alone on the same plate.

The dog doesn't even look like he wants to eat it. How bad is that? We have to stop my dogs from eating weasel poop.

4 out of 5 dogs agree, weasel poop tastes better than that stuff.

He's a she and she already had some of the crispy tidbits of awesomeness, and was just reflecting on how good they were.
I even asked her what I could give her that would taste better, and she said nothing.

Put her on the phone, I need to do an impartial interview.

How do I know she just didn't want to hurt your feelings?

Sorry, she's a PC and droid user only, currently ready for a nap, and best not disturbed.
