I quite liked some Mil Lel cheddar I had many years ago. My father went to the factory, near Mt Gambier and bought a large bag of offcuts. Good.

Here's my latest reason not to get a K-3... The extra zero on my K-30 lets me occasionally capture pics like this, so who needs one?!?!

Every year, the sea lions follow the spring salmon runs up the Columbia River in ever larger numbers... This year they estimated close to 3000 of them, the port authorities in Astoria basically ceded to whole docks to them. They lure in tourists (like us), at the same time they are noisy, sometimes dangerous to humans, and they eat a large percentage of the salmon. They have both friends and foes in plenty!

Bah, a good photographer can make great pictures even with a K-3 Mk 0

The Almighty(ish) Mod tolerates the occasional non-food photo, so long as it comes from a camera that does not bear the mark of the hociR.
