Something like that. Not really sure about who or what you are calling "septics", I always thought that had something to do with stuff my grandfather the plumber talked about. English language humour is so different between here and those places who copy our dates and times some hours behind us.

And yet, as shown by Jean's illustration, the scum goes to the top.

I have yet to see a workplace where that doesn't hold true.

What did Heathcliff ever do to you?
Not THAT Heathcliff. He's a cat. He's cool. Forgot about him. I should have added him to my comics list...

Sounds like a regional usage.

Last week I made use of an unusual regional usage:
meat wagon: n. = ambulance
meat wagon: v. = do something to someone leading them to require a ride in a meat wagon.
other parts of speech exist.
Only place I have heard it was by the boys at the high school sponsored by a brewery.
May have been dropped from the language now. Students these days are so docile. In 24 years I have never heard my students sing the commons song from my u/g days:
"Boring, boring, boring ..."

Yeah Rob, there probably are, But I try to be moderate, 'cause I have a couple of very dear friends who were native born in the Land of the Free.

19 hours is a long time...
Bet the K3 battery would not last that long in continuous HI, therefore not buying one...

Can't believe the wires and enticements this guy uses to get his shots. Rupert would say Otis simply orders his lackeys into the poses!
