It's been over 90 here since early May. With the humidity the heat index indicates the real temperature is usually close to 100 degrees. I'm doing chores at 3AM just to be able to do them and not get heat stroke. I've got the window AC's on, both of them, and 2 fans on and I'm still sweating buckets anytime I try to do anything that involves moving. You were saying? :P

I was not whining, just describing a fact.

My first trip to London, June 1996, had some warm days. Englishmen were walking around with their shirts off, getting sunburned and complaining about it being too hot. I was wearing a light jumper, now lost. Spent 3 weeks there. quite fun.

Temp and humidity sound great, sorry for the company

Whining?

Oh, I'm not whining. No, as Steve mentioned we are enjoying a pleasant sunny weekend. Temps in the high 70's to the mid 80's. Humidity around 29% and the barometric pressure is sitting quietly at 29.98".

Just another typically mild and wonderful day in the beautiful Pacific Northwet.

Yep.

Life is good.

And Racer has enough overtime hours this quarter that he can decline the designated weekend overtime.

Nice.

We get to rub it in during our perfect summers here (to make up for the winter climate...) 😇

I'm pretty sure I may end up mentioning the sunny mid-60s weather out at Astoria and Cannon Beach the next couple of days, when the spouse and I are wandering around the ocean beaches to celebrate another anniversary.

Bad news is that when it is hot here in Portland, it is often cloudy or foggy at the coast. Cannon Beach forecast for tomorrow is high of 67 F under mostly cloudy skies with cloudy skies trending cooler through the next five days.

Yeah, the forecast varies depending on which site you go to... But hey, foggy days at the beach just makes for a *different* mood and setting for the photos and the tours of the lighthouses (Cape Disappointment and North Head), and the leisure time hanging out on the beach... The surf will still be crashing and playing its tune no matter what the sky does. And of course we go prepared for both

Sounds familiar. I know it's summer when I have mallards and three kinds of gull wading in my garden

I'm so not jealous.

An article for you, consider it carefully.
