Don't feel bad. I've had THIS stuck in my head for a week now. One listen and now I can't get it out of there. It's a nice song, mind, but I'm nearly going mad because my mind is stuck on it so long...

Lol. Hate when that happens. Since I work with children, it's usually kids' songs stuck in my head. When it's bad enough, I'll walk around singing them at home and get strange looks from my husband.

Hum a few bars of "God Save The Queen" ("My Country Tis of Thee"). That is usually enough to dislodge any stuck songs...residue free!

Boy George just helped actually. Karma Chameleon came on the car radio this afternoon while I was out. Pushed the other song straight out of my head, laugh. Now of course I'm hearing that but that's a considerable improvement... :P

I find that saying the word "apple pie" about 15 times out loud dislodges any stuck song from my mind. It does not help, of course, that people look at me strangely when I say "apple pie" 15x out loud, but anyway, such is life!

Wait until you get old-er and wake up with a song stuck in your head that you haven't heard in 20-30 years.
That's when it gets scary.
