I think that I figured out what went wrong here ... I used blue cheese.

My guess is that the cheese bacteria are in cohorts with the eviL hociR, thus they let the Sirens' song pass ... or maybe it was something else .

Is he a mod, or a zoo keeper?

(I'm sure that Jim sometimes thinks he is rounding up cats!)

Ah, that explains it. The mould from the cheese settles smugly on your brain, and... Well, you don't even need to hear the Sirens' song after that!

It's not all bad, though. Mouldybrains are said to have more fun than people with clean swept brains, and adding the sweeeet song to that makes life good

Sav, (can I call you Sav? - It is a rule in Oz that you have to have a nickname!)
I can't believe that you could find such a gif: That is priceless.

Being a zookeeper in this thread is no problem, it's being a playground monitor in some of the FF and News and Rumors threads that is a real challenge.

A nickname for my pseudonym? Sure, why not. Grammatically it doesn't make much sense, though.

I feel too polite today to start on the topic of Aussies and sensemaking

But yeah, I was very pleased when I found that gif

Only when he's in a bad mood.

But yes, he carries a whip. And he uses it. Ouch.

I believe you! I visit those places only by accident, and I rarely leave without fresh bruises scars on my soul.

I see there's a religious war over "equivalence" in the Lens Discussion forum, too. I don't think they've managed to bring out any fresh arguments since page two

Nor since the first of what seems like tens of thousands of threads on the subject.

I haven't been over here in a while.....I only come for the Velveeta anyhow. Now that summer is in full force...at least here....is anyone interested in a Velveeta on the sidewalk melting contest? I think I can win on Wednesday when it hits 105F here, but maybe someone else thinks they can melt it faster?
I melted two Velveeta sandwiches yesterday in 4 1/4 minutes...but I cheated a little by placing them on the black asphalt street surface and not the sidewalk. Mrs Rupert complained about one side of her sandwich looking "dirty", but I told her it was just some extra seasoning. Use Whole wheat bread and the dirt won't show.

Regards!
