If we can somehow combine bacon with interstellar travel, we'd really have something.

Lutefisk with bacon and goat cheese is actually an ordinary way to serve this for a winter meal. Why someone would mix in Swedish tin can fish is beyond me, that's just like having fish with fish. Lots of pepper, French mustard, and honey/sirup though, that's what you need.
You may need that, but I don't!

Yeah, and rotten Swedish tin can fish at that

Personally I choose to stay away from your "ordinary" Norwegian winter meal. I prefer pinnekjøtt. Every time. That Is what I need

I'm marinating some fillets of beef right now. That marinade includes an habanero chili. Which is just fine. But I didn't wear gloves when cutting the chili. Which I now realise would have been a good idea.

I just had a wee.

Despite my Norwegian ancestry, lamb somehow has never interested my pallet. Fish is always good though. Well, most fish anyway.

Never had it with goat cheese, only bacon, ertestuing, melted butter and potatoes. But I guess it does vary from place to place...

Um, pretty sure thermstabilized bacon is a thing on the ISS already. Would not surprise me if Elon Musk sent some to Mars.

Been there, done that, sort of.
Note to self: Wash hands thoroughly after applying Bengay to treat torticollis.
