The minister of a church we used to attend started many stories that way.
Now I will publicly state that never, in all the years we've both been members here, have Norm or I been given to posting speculation, unsubstantiated fact, hyperbole, or anything that would cause any sort of controversy.

("I swear, if this isn't true, it should be.")
I notice you didn't include outright lying in your disclaimer.
Smart man.

Pentax dude bought a K-3. He'll never show his face here again.
May not show his face, but he continues to lurk.

Most recently July 11 of this year.

I think he has a maternal need to look in on his baby now and then. He created this monster, er, thread, and just as with one's offspring, he will be joined to it forever.

There's nobody named Pentaxdude in Norway, I just checked. And nobody called K-3

On the other hand, according to Statistics Norway:

QuoteQuote:
There are 135 men with Odd Roar as their forename
But only 6 named Bent Even.

I'm glad we don't have strange names like they do abroad.

A girl here has just made the news - her first name is "LA". Pronounced like the abreviation for a city name in California. Hunt for missing girl LA Tukerangi leads police to car | Stuff.co.nz
Odd.

A friend of mine (now deceased) was "John Fitzgerald Kennedy Kretzen". Funny what parents will come up with.

I doubt they were as "original" as former US secretary of state Lawrence Eagleburger

My "K-3" money just got spent on a new heat-pump/AC unit. Wait... that was the FF with lens money I just spent.
