He is not hooded. Clearly no intention of performing a public spectacle execution such as we read about in high school history.

We are safe!

Careful, now. Remember, the Mod has a thousand eyes and a thousand ears. You never find the Mod, he finds you. And the Mod can be a dozen places at once. So when the Mod asks, you answer. No man can refuse the voice of the Mod. Obviously, only a fool crosses the Mod; the Mod is rough with rough-necks - and when the Mod is rough, he is very rough. Add to that that when the Mod strikes, lightning stands still, and there's no wonder that when the Mod is angry, the Thread trembles.

The sad part of the story is that, even though there are times when the Mod leaves the Thread and walks the streets of the town like an ordinary man, the Mod's life is a lonely one. He who sees the Mod's face, dies a horrible death - which isn't the best way to makes friends, really.

A last warning to those who harbour such ideas: Never take aim at the Mod. Shooting, the Mod can knock the flea off the ear of a warthog at 100 paces without hurting the beast.

So be good and you'll be safe. Log onto the Forums and call: the Mod hears

My apologies to Lee Falk...

Indeed.

Our m0d is a great and wonderful m0d. He is compassionate and fair. And he is always ready to deal with any miscreants.

Swiftly and surely.

And when Chuck Norris needs help, he turns to these pages.

That's funny, mine went into the witness protection program. I suppose my last visit was a little too "wet".
Yeah, i imagine that if you were drinking with northern norwegians, you probably felt about as good as I do right now... Ugh.

Do you people not realize that the word mod is actually derived from two separate words. Man + God = Mod. Notice how they share the same middle letter. This is symbolic of God giving some special powers to (With apologies to Kipling and Connery) "The Man Who Would Be Mod".

From 'A Hard Day's Night':

Reporter: Are you a mod or a rocker?
Ringo Starr: Um, no. I'm a mocker

Eating high on the cow keeps the budget too low for a kaythree purchase, even if I did want one.
