I heard, but can't substantiate, that pentaxdude is hiring cartoonist Bill Watterson to work up a sketch of Calvin peeing on a K-3.
Now, that would be a reason for not byuing it...

You recall I recently exposed the evil hociR's activities in Namibia via an image in this thread? See, I was just standing in the kitchen, quietly working on my dinner, my trusty K-r sitting on the window sill, when a hociR hit squad burst through the window, trashed the K-r, held a K3 to my head and put another in my hand. They forced me to take that picture with it and post it on here to undermine my credibility among the resistance. I actually managed to carve "Help!" and "I'm sorry!" in one of the pieces of zucchini in the background, but the wicked K3 was set to a wide aperture and it got lost in the background blur ...

Then they left. I was so traumatised I didn't even figure I could just delete the picture. I also had to see a dermatologist the next day for treatment of a severe rash that developed on my hands and arms where the K3 touched me.

I know you're a college student, FMF, but I didn't realize until now that you're working on a PhD (Piled HIgher and Deeper)

Nonononono, I'm not at a college, I'm at a proper ancient u-n-i-v-e-r-s-i-t-y

If you tell a European he's going to college, he will display roughly the same facial expression as when you call football 'soccer'

I only do that if I'm trying to goad them into doing something really stupid. Like spitting while they are eating or drinking, or something like that.

They are such easy targets that way.

One day left here to visit Normandy then back home. Saw the American Cemetery today. An excellent site that I should have visited many years earlier.
