Maybe I should rephrase that... I've seen 27, she likely knows a lot more.

Hey, no need to tell me - I'm Norwegian! Anything containing alcohol costs an arm and a leg here.

1. Never waste alcohol, be it by breaking a bottle or otherwise
2. Always drink to the last drop in the bottle - see point 1

Add to that, since the stuff is so expensive you want to maximise the effect for the least possible amount: Drink hard and fast!

Same rules here, we have the second most expensive alcohol in the world behind Norway in Finland. Non-Finns always wonder why the Finns drink so hard. It's because they want to make it count. It's expensive so you don't do it half-way!

1) Refrain from food all day.
2) Work up a good sweat. You want your body craving liquids
3) Quickly drink two shots of you favorite hard liquor. Three depending upon your weight.
4) Sit back and enjoy the ride.

I inadvertently did this once in my young and foolish days so I can vouch for the results.

Or just do what I did yesterday-- go to a music festival with a nasty cold/sinus infection. The combination of alcohol, painkillers, Röyksopp, and whatever horrible virus is reaping through my system was quite interesting.

NyQuil used to be pretty harsh ... and over-the-counter in my day

Cannot say how it is today; not available in France

Eat a bacon, cheese, and lutefisk sandwich and call us in the morning.
