Ya know, it's funny. You and everyone else probably are. I'll get over it soon enough.

I think its fear. There's no excuse not to post up any more.

I for one am delighted that you got a K-3. After shouting against the wind for so long that good things were coming from Ricoh (yes, Ricoh, that Snidely Whiplash to poor little Pentax/Nell), it's only fair that you should have one of those good things.

I'm surprised there wasn't more (any?) angst in the Murano interview thread about his remark that they were able to "import good things from GR into K-3". No way could anything good come from Ricoh DNA befouling pure a Pentax design.

Edit: and which is why I won't be buying a K-3!

Well thank you THoog!! That's a good thought! I too feel that way.

I just feel a little embarrassed that I got to open a cool new camera early while everyone else in my family (and I, too) is still wrapping things up to give everyone else. Somehow it doesn't seem fair. But they're cool. They know the story and they validated the whole thing.

Larry asked (welcome back to the thread, Larry. You don't post here much ) if I was going to leave it under the tree and I almost did, for that reason.

But Amy (and Larry) convinced me. The Christmas card is almost ready.

Well, in non-cheese related news my confused patient was pleasantly confused all night. Which is WAY better than combative!

Two Christmases ago I was an emergent patient. My RN's were all quite patient with me and I with them though I was itchin' to get out of Dodge. My "tap" Nurse (put the IV in) IIRC finished her RN like a week before and was shadowing a more senior - I was pretty happy for her. I got to eat the evening before (???) and catering brought me two complete meals. DK if he was confused or we all were just sharing XMAS eve-eve together as well as we could.

I can't recall if anything had cheese in it.
