Well... it still might be a trap. After that incident with the gummy bears, I'm suspicious of "found food". It took me hours to get out of that box...

Perhaps you are a poet. Do your feet show it? Are the Longfellows?

A buddy of mine in Wisconsin sends me jars of hot pickled baby mushrooms.
They are killer in a Bloody Mary.

Killer baby mushrooms? I'm fairly certain that's not a good thing to eat.

Or drink.

We pick and eat wild mushrooms a LOT in Finland. We can basically pick them anywhere, there is 'everyman's right' (more or less direct translation) and you can pick as many as you want. People who are serious about it have secret locations they don't share with anyone, like a secret fishing hole.

Speaking about mushrooms I encountered a lot of them on two islands I visited. There were lots of these....

I am fairly sure you cannot eat them yet I feel strangely attracted to them...

No, I am sure the colors don't matter (creamy white with some brown). I can even feel the attraction in black&white. I was thinking if we can use these special mushrooms to lure the Hocir away to one of our islands and thus save Tokyo!

The red ones with creamy white spots are quite nice ... so I have been told.

I have seen a few in the woods ... but I prefer "Bolets".
