Yes, I remember that first slip. It didn't go over too well with a certain member.

Now excuse me while I go tune up my industrial trash compactor.

Absolute truth, it was a typo error that I still commonly make in my hurried typing. I didn't even notice it until all the uproar. Nowadays I try to look before I post. Once I found it antagonizing, Otis suggested I use it more often....and of course, I did!

Regards!

When The Thread has wandered through the subject of certain fermented grape beverages, several times I have started to chime in, suffered from a Freudian slip of spelling it 'whine' (having just read a N&R thread, no doubt), gotten the giggles, and decided not to post anything...

I think we should close this thread and start a new one called "why I won't buy a k-1"......to see what kind of excuses people use for not buying the new and exciting Pentax FF model.

There will be one (or more), never fear.

...because it's 'way more camera than I will ever need, and 'way more camera than I want to carry? I'm still excited about it for everyone else. Momma Pentax has been kind to me for the past few years; I hope the FF is everything they have wanted. (Well, that's not possible, but you know what I mean.)

Oh well, to quote myself: Nothing a few beers can't fix.

That'd work, too. But the masses will judge you a wine snob if you do that, and I give in to pressure all too easily. And I can't hide behind being French...

Thus beers for me tonight
