I think his full name his "Hamlet Hocking" but people just call him "Ham Hoc."

Sometimes they refer to his brother Adlai , shortened to Ad Hoc

Like Yogisms with Yogi Bera, an Ad Hoc argument is one that Adlai Hocking would have made.

"Yogi said "if you come to a fork in the road take it"

Adlai said "surely you jest, you can't be serious" ( he was related to John McEnroe)

Hamlet said " I am serious and don't call me Shirley"

I'm sure it went something like that.

Just not a big appetite. That potato salad though. That was good! I'm not sure what all was in it, but I know it had sour cream, cheese, potatoes. Yeah.
