Somewhere on the forum there's a description of how I'd spend $85,000 in an afternoon at the camera store. Never set your sites too low.

How hard could that be? Just start out with a Hasselblad H5D-200c and you're up to $45,000 already.

Or are we speaking Pentax gear? Now, that would take me some 10 minutes to fulfill!

A full 645z kit.... 55k right there... some of it was second hand like the 250-600 and A*400 2.8, but a lot of new stuff too, like the 3 amigos and 150-450 and 70-200 and 24-70, it doesn't take long.

Now, THAT would be a true love gift!

Except I don't really need a MF to take pictures of my teenagers & vacations.

I suspect I don't truly love you.

You don't need it but, what has that ever had anything to do with anything?

At least he was honest about it.

I know there are some people who do it, but I think carrying a 645 for vacation and family snaps is like lugging a full sized ice chest around to keep your sandwich cool. What is the opposite of "need"? As in, you don't just "not need" to do something, you "un-need" to do it.

@dansamy
I probably don't truly love you, but I'm still interested in whether or not you truly love me.

You say it like there is something wrong with that.

I'm open-minded, but my sciatic nerve insists that there is a problem with it.

Now that you say it like that, it seems to sound unethical or something.

Y'all are hilarious!

But I don't love Norm that much either! $55k-ish could go a long ways on other priorities!
