At least LR is an element. Apperture is (or was) just a momentary figment of your imagination.

True, 10 years from now when there won't be a single computer that can run it, how will we prove it ever existed?

...and ununseptium is at least as useful as people wishing Pentax to be like Canon. Which admittedly isn't very useful.

Your point, sir.

Did it?

Can we prove that we exist?

Can we prove that we are not just a simulation run by somebody who tries to prove that they are not just a simulation?

Dream on. Not all threads can be like this one.

THE bad element??

Besides, there are no bad elements. We need them all.

this is worrying - Nikon = Nickel, Potassium, Oxygen, Nitrogen
Canon = Calcium, Nobelium, Nitrogen

Can't do that for Pentax or Ricoh, or any other make i can think of

Could this be the key to market dominance?

As long as I can prove that when I think I'm drinking a simulated beer it changes my possibly imaginary mood, does it make any difference?

The truth as Otis sees it....He is real, and the rest of us are figments of his twisted imagination....and from viewing this thread, it is a damn twisted imagination!

Ask Otis if he's ever been stepped on by figment of his imagination before. I hear it can be real painful.

Maybe it's people's figments of imagination that lead them to foment such furor in the full frame forum.

Damn. All of a sudden I have a craving for a Fig Newton.

I'm not discussing the full frame forum today, give me a week or two. Maybe after Christmas. :

Is there such thing as a "Figment Newton" ?

...or have such disdain and repulsion at the sight of little furry squirrels? Maybe it is just fear?

Definitely the case in the N&R forum (and to a lesser extent, mirrorless)
