I didn't even have to look that word up...but I did anyhow to see what it means. You can't say I'm not thrifty.....if it all tastes like shoe polish, and it does, why waste money! If you swig down 8-10 ounces just before bedtime you will sleep great........and wake up with bad breath.

I buy wine for the names and the drawings on the front.....and have found it works out pretty well. That frog is a great drawing, rivaling some of my own famous drawings, and the wine is no worse than that Leaning Lizard Shiraz that is also effective at delivering sweet dreams.

Another 1,000 miles and you could be at Mount Pilchuck, right outside my backdoor.

Nice pic, Racer! Love it when Mother Nature provides a natural wind tunnel display of the air currents...

After 5 years and 800,000 miles I could write a book about dipsticks that linger near big trucks and others that tailgate. Many times these Mensa members suffer the consequences when a tire comes apart.
Last March, when we were on our way to Rupert's, we were on I-20 just East of Abilene. I was to the left of, and slightly behind a semi. It was one of the few days while we were there that it was warm enough to have the windows down but I digress.
A tire on the left side of the trailer blew. I don't know whether it was an inside or outside, front or rear axle, because I was too busy trying to find a place to pull over and change my underwear.

Thanks Jim!

And yes, it caught my eye when I saw the currents in the clouds. I only wish the light would have been better. Here is a panorama I put together from the same set of shots.

I found it fascinating how the clouds illustrated the flow of air in the atmosphere, for several miles.

Imagine how it is when you are in the truck and a drive tire blows. Happened to me a half dozen times, and every single time gave me a start like no other.

I was in Tonkawa, Oklahoma getting fuel when another driver failed to clear the concrete pier at the end of the fuel island. About jumped out of my skin.

It is 4 degrees tonight. This is St. Louis, not Sioux Falls.

I think tomorrow will be a good day for traditional Beef Stew.

Not that I miss the Ewes, but there's not a lot else going on here on Sundays.
