Sounds really good, but pretty spicy.
My son likes about 1 TBS of peanut butter mixed into a big bowl of chili.

My chili is a mix of 1.5lb of ground sirloin, 1lb ground pork, chili powder, cumin, paprika, diced onion, diced bell peppers, and then pureed jalapenos, poblanos, chipotles, anaheim peppers, and 4 ounces of applesauce. I also stick some salt and pepper in there too. It is gooood. Everyone always eats it all in one sitting though, so I never have leftovers.
Sounds good to me. I'd love it...way too spicy for Mrs Rupert and her reflux, but she could eat a grilled cheese sandwich while I feasted!

How is that....never thought of that? I have added some Cheez Whiz but only after I fill my bowl with the prepared chili.

Regards!

Ooh, yum! PB and spicy mix really well... Best burger I ever had was at a place in Denver, something I'd seen on "Man vs Food". Mongo beef patty, slab of cheddar, a thick glop of peanut butter, and a pile of fresh chopped jalapeno (plus the regular fixin's). Oh. My. Gawd... (another Homer drooling image goes here) The PB smooths out the peppers in a way that's hard to describe.

DAMN SHUCKS that sounds good!
We have chili regularly. We like it really spicy. I've heard of peanut butter in chili but I never think to try it. I always add a good squirt of lime juice to mine.

That is a possibility too...but not the reason.

Mrs Rupert kept her word! Yukon Gold fried potato sandwiches! Velveeta went on the second one......
Except for the fried part of this meal, it is a healthy meal...like we usually have every night. It is very rare for us to fry anything....okra being a welcome exception!

Heavenly!
What is that white stuff in the glass?

The apple sauce cuts the acidity, but it still has a little bite. It is really good too! You could even have her dip the grilled cheese sandwich in it, as long as you're not using Velveeta.

It is, but I doubt it would be when sent through the mail.

Oh yeah, and spring has been postponed. Crappy phone cam shot from last night - and the weather continued through the night.

Hoo-bloody-ray.
