Homemade pizza with 'Co-op Gold' mozzarella, a combination of real pasteurized milk AND real modified milk ingredients. Only the best for my boys. (I think the elasticity comes from real elastics too, but that's not listed on the package.)

I'm going to celebrate with some Dunkin' Donuts coffee tonight so that I can stay up for the AdAmAn Club fireworks on Pikes Peak. (Google "AdAmAn" if you want to see what serious people do for New Year's Eve. Or just go to adaman.org)

Oh, I'll be drinking my coffee at home, not at 14K feet. Haven't been winter mountaineering for a few years.

I have an idea for an important new research study that may finally bring to light all the differences and solve all the disputes and problems.

Last night it occurred to me that if we studied what kinds of foods Pentaxians ate as children and compared this information with data on the lenses they grew up to end up owning, an important new finding might emerge that would be of tremendous value.

I'm thinking, as an example, what if, say, 94% of kids who ate Captain Crunch cereal grew up to own DA 21 limiteds?

Well? Did you?

Why did this post and subsequent replies get merged with the why I won't buy a K-3 thread? It hadn't referred to the K-3 in any way.

And. Galaxie, guys. Ford Galaxie 500. The kind with the Y in it is Greek Mythology, not Detroit Testosterone (though I admit we are short some genetic information on this side of the recombinant DNA ledger).

Not to get this thread off topic, but since it is almost new years here, and already in some places: What New Years traditions do you celebrate?

We start the morning with a "New Year's Pretzel" Which is a pretzel shaped sweet bun with white icing. Don't ask, I've no idea but they are tasty. This year she is making one with cranberries and hazelnuts as well as the icing.

Then we have to have pork and sauerkraut for lunch and then left over pork and sauerkraut sandwiches for dinner. Again, don't ask, I have no idea. But I'm told that unless these things happen the new year will be terrible.

New Year tradition;
Go to bed about 11pm, wake about 7am on New Years Day.
Nothing has changed except I am a day older.
(I live within a few miles of the town's fireworks display, and if the breeze is from the right direction, sometimes I hear them before I fall asleep. I have even been known to get up and watch from my veranda a few times!)

Eat more garlic. It's been shown to be beneficial for sciatica and like conditions.
Of course, at your age you may be beyond help.
