Totally agree. A little goes a long way. It's like the dandelion greens they like to slip into "salad mix".

I made the mistake of dropping an F bomb around my grandma when I was 6. You never forget.

I never got the soap treatment......I once narrowly avoided kerosene and a match...my Mom played for keeps.

But....your story reminded me of my first grade F bomb experience.

We had "Mothers Day" and one of our assignments was to learn new words and spell them on the blackboard. After we broke for lunch I came back with a new word I found on the wall of a bathroom stall. The object was to stand and write the word and then ask who could define it? When it came my turn.....with my Mom sitting with all the other moms.......yep, you guessed it. I don't think my Mom has ever liked me much since then.....I had no idea what the word was or meant, just that it seemed popular on the bathroom walls.
My Mom, very straight-lace, to this day will not allow that story to be retold. I'm pretty certain it would get me disinherited if I ever mentioned it, even in private.

Regards!

Otis informed me he will be doing some appreciation today. Stay alert!

Blackmail is a hanging offense in Texas. Unless you are a politician, then it is standard practice!

He's like JD Salinger ... a moment of brilliance then disappeared, ducking all the publicity.

The original, and still the best:

He was on the "final rinse" phase of some film development and there was "some splash back" when it was added to stop any spotting and/or streaking ...

Yeah,that's it.
