No, but my raccoons have been in a foul mood lately......reckon.....???? Last night the mama complained that the chicken breast was too spicy and the Italian bread not spicy enough.

As I've posted, it's not getting old that matters, its aging.

Damn do I know that to be a fact!

I went to town, watched my manners and picked no fights. I think I will survive the day. When Mrs Rupert comes in, I hope she is in a good mood......I don't want a butt whippin'.

These kind of days are pretty rare for me......not sure what causes them. Chemicals in the air? It's very windy out there.

On this date in 2013 we got a little snow.
But I still fired up the grill.
Impressive. As we know by now, you are a Weber man!

Actually, I went beyond. I was in Aldis and in line to checkout with a basket full when an up the street neighbor that I have had some harsh words with on several occasions stepped in behind me with a jar of jelly...nothing else. "Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and you were out of jelly?"

Yep, that was it. Normally I might have said, "too bad you are too dumb to think ahead." But.....I stepped aside and said "go ahead of me." He damn hear collapsed with a heart attack, you should have seen the look on his face!

Diplomacy.......I know all about it and how to use it, it is shameful when I don't. Old as I am, it is not too late to try harder. Otis sees it differently, he says he would have said..."You are already a big fat ugly dumb slob...and you're buying sugar filled jelly?"

Regards!

I was talking to my daughter yesterday and we started talking about shopping at Aldi.
She said when she was there the other day a guy came up in line behind her with only a jar of jelly (I swear)
With her many items out of the cart she insisted to the man they she would pay for his jelly so he wouldn't have to wait.
He resisted at first, but gave in with her persistence.
Bet your neighbor would have keeled over if you had gone that far.
