You'll feel better once the symptoms go away.

Old wives tales say you feel best just before you die. So we don't want to get to feeling too good. I don't see that as a problem, I haven't felt "too good" in ages.

Something went wrong last night....I slept from 10pm 'til 5:30am uninterrupted. Never got up once, never woke up tossing around, just slept. I drank the same 8 oz of red shoe polish just before bed as always. I did eat a big Chicken Fried Steak with lots of gravy at Cottonpatch around 8pm.......reckon????

Regards!

Actually, that's not an old wives' tale. The medical term for it is "the last (or final) rally". It's not at all uncommon with terminally ill patients.
It's a documented phenomenon.

Well, I'll be damn! It was an old wife that told it to me a long time ago. I thought she was just an old fool....I guess it was one of those rare times when I misjudged???

Regards!

BTW- Finished off the last of my Ghost Pepper cheese tonight. If you have not much to do and want to send more.....I got no problem with it!

I'm just happy to wake up, because if I wake up it means I actually slept.

Some truth in that for sure! I'm sure it is age...aches and pains, unsettled mind from the tangled events in the world, and maybe certain medications I suspect of sleep disruption....but whatever it is, I find it difficult to get a really good nights sleep.

I wonder if others have this problem off and on...or more often? Drinking about 8 oz of red wine just before bedtime seems to work best for me. I have meds, but never take them, and they are no better anyhow.
Once I wake up even if it is 3am, getting back to sleep is near impossible. I just toss and turn until I finally get up. Any day I have failed to get some good hard sleep the previous night, I suffer.

Is this a common problem? I see the Big Pharma ads and guess it must be?

I've asked Otis for advice, but the says it's not a problem he can relate to......

Regards!

I am sick. Started with a scratchy feeling throat Friday at work, thought it was the dust from a massive construction project for the 777X project going on adjacent to the wing tool I work in. The contractors have been tearing out the concrete floor to put in a thicker one to support the weight of some new fangled assembly tooling.

Tons of dust.

Everyone is complaining. Many people are going to Medical with respiratory issues. The group that responds to these complaints says the amount of dust in the air is "within normal limits'.

Sure.

*sigh*

But.

The irritation of my throat was worse Saturday morning.

I was pretty sure someone gave me a cold.

And by midday the aches and pains began to settle in.

Yep.

I'm sick.

Coughing.

Runny nose.

That achy feeling all over.

Everything hurts.

Joints.

Bones.

Muscles.

Headache.

Being ill sucks.

I have yardwork to do.

And come Monday it is back to the World's Largest Building, complete with all the dust from the construction.

Great.

Being sick sucks.

In fact it sucks enough to keep a K3 out of my camera bag.
