I have found a Bert replacement.....unfortunately I didn't get her name or other information, but I will remember her when I see her again, and I am certain I will.
I was in Aldis this afternoon picking up a few items for dinner. She was riding in one of those motor carts, and it was straining to move her about...if you know what I mean. When she got to the canned/packaged meat section she picked up a package of that precooked sliced bacon. Nothing unusual about that......I sometimes buy it too, it is quick and easy to add to a meal. What was unusual was to see her open it right there in the store and start eating it. By the time she got to the checkout half the bacon was gone. She paid for it and her other goods, and was still eating the rest as she bagged her groceries.
I didn't talk with her, fearing I might fall head over heels for a woman with that much bacon passion. Was it true love for bacon or just an addiction?

She didn't look like the type that would ever want a K3, but if she did, I am sure bacon could persuade her she didn't.

Anyhow....we could use her here, and let the squirrels do away with Bert.

Regards!

Liver and onions can be great, if cooked correctly.

There is a difference.

Even peameal bacon?

So, to the basic food groups (salt, sugar, grease, artificial ingredients, chocolate, garlic, and caffeine), must we now add bacon & Velveeta, or are they covered under "grease?"

Bacon and Velveeta have always been part of the basic food groups here!

Wow. Just... wow. If she's scooter-bound and having to snack on the bacon before she can even get out of the grocery store*, she probably wouldn't be a long-term replacement. I also have some concern about what she might do to the squirrels in the meantime.

*probably a two-way connection there - if you can't even wait until you get to the checkout to start snacking, much less home, you can get that big, and if you are that big, your body is telling your brain I'm starving!!!! all the time.

I agree. He's still young - I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt before throwing him to the squirrels.

Thomas Hardy referred to liver and lights. Argus had to tell us what light are - lungs.

Will have bacon and other stuff for breakfast today. The rules limit bacon to two pieces or they charge extra.

Very generous of you. But he did say that he doesn't like bacon.

Besides, it should be possible to find a replacement with a longer life expectancy than Rupert's girlfriend has.

I don't have her contact info, but I'm sure I'd recognise her should I meet her.
