I feel confused........ Like the continuity of life is unraveling....... Not sure I can handle the jarring unreality of it........ Or is it the reality? Hard to tell........

After over 2,500 posts of solid, comfortable off-topic conversation somebody tries to post on-topic? Isn't there a place for that kind of thing?

Seriously, I read the post twice looking for the punch line. Maybe I should go back and read it again.............

Oh dear, I was wondering when pugilism (or unboxing) would rear it's ugly head in this thread. Looks like it's unravelling.

I believe it can be saved. Application of large amounts of cheese will bind the unraveling threads back into the glowing icon of unrealistic offtopicism we have grown to love. But we must act urgently there is no time to waste.

I will start with an egg and cheese sandwich. Probably not real cheese but I think the physical properties lend themselves to deravelization. (Odd, spell check wanted to change that to demoralization).........

Dispuglism? Depugilism?

Is that the lack of belief in small pugs? I know they exist - I've seen 'em!

Well, I was hoping to suggest the distopic overtone suggested by the OP's deconstructivist statement, of which his silence is but an eternal element, but perhaps you are right.

Maybe I should have asked a question in the kitchen the other night.

Let's hope that no one is getting dysphoric enough about the thread to disavow it due to its dissentive nature.

Well, application of large amounts of cheese will surely bind something.

Are you suggesting a dyspeptic diaspora?

I had to look up diaspora, but I'm all too familiar with dyspepsia.

Advice duly noted.

I have a photo trip planned for april 27 to Big Sur/Monterey for a week.

I was thinking around mid april so i'd get atleast one weekend out with the new camera to get a feel for it.
You might want to give yourself a bit more than that. The controls are the same, but it's a new sensor...

are you guys "dis"-sing me?

i'm at work, so I refuse to turn on my brain and look up those big words.

i'm quickly becoming disenchanted with this whole thread and now i'm feeling disenfranchised as well..

The best thing about this thread is, you have no idea where it will be when you come back.
