i'm quickly becoming disenchanted with this whole thread and now i'm feeling disenfranchised as well..

The best thing about this thread is, you have no idea where it will be when you come back.

And it's self-sustaining and it takes absolutely no intellectual effort to contribute on any topic whatsoever... sort of like the kitchen chat.

I feel pity, though, for the newcomers who stumble into this thread - thinking that 75,000 views must mean it has some socially-redeeming quality or reveals some deeply-hidden secrets about the K-3. Now, that other active thread on the lens decision and options is much more enchanting and less disenfranchising, even if it has complicated technical bits.

I truly hope this won't cause you to discommend the thread despite feeling a bit of a disconnection due to being at work. I assure you that we are not deliberately, dispassionately, disaccommodating you by posting while you are toiling away. We are completely without dissympathy and discompassion for your situation.
I hope your limited participation from work is dispunishable, as we would hate for you to become disprofitable. There is a diseconomy in making an employer dissatisfied due to a disproportionate goofing off/work ratio, or any discompliance with company policy.
