Hot frames Jim.

Looks like a great time.

But if the weather holds Mrs. Racer has my hands on a paint brush. The veranda needs to get fresh stain on it.

And Sunday I am in school all day. The life of an airplane wing mechanic is filled with school and continual re-certification.

Garden with cold frames. Providing a warm and protected space in your garden for spring seeds will allow you to get a head start on your gardening season. Cold frames, made of lumber or hay bales and old windows or glass shower doors, are the perfect way to control the climate in your nursery beds.

Back to important stuff.

Here is how they do it up in Saskatoon.

A set of 53 foot doubles.

They also pull sets like this in Oklahoma.

Oh, and in Ohio on the turnpike only they run double 53's. There are marshaling yards at the toll plazas, where the sets are made up and broke down, as they are only allowed on the turnpike there.

Otis wants those little babies nurtured and treated like family...so do what you have to do. If you have to stay in your shop with them at night and wrap them in a little blanket, then do it. Otis is very protective of little orphans...everyone knows that!

And back to cabovers.

In a cabover you will never see a view like this:

Nothing beats the feeling of watching the world go by with the view over a Hood.

Hoods rule.

The other problem with them is that if you're driving one there's an accident you're the first one there.

Already got salopettes, but need a warmer down jacket. The one I have right now isn't even warm enough for a Scottish winter

And I need to book language lessons with my grandmother.
