Oz is awake, but some of us have other things to do, like squashing thumbs (OK that was two weeks ago - today I busied myself for half the morning buttoning the left cuff on my shirt sleeve - first time I have managed in two weeks! If you were clever/smart [or have Big Brain Thinking] you would have connected the two weeks of squashing thumb with two weeks of inability to button up left cuff).

Have I posted this previously? Not much has changed - the redness has more or less gone but the rest has stayed the same.
I expect the nail to fall off eventually and a nice new shiny one to be underneath.

Very contrived, Ex Finn, but post #27000 is yours. ☺

I bet a few choice words were emitted, Rod ... the old seven second radio delay wouldn't have been enough.

Only men with limited vocabulary need that sort of stuff!
I said something like "OOH!!" (Really, I did.)
The friend I was working with suggested taking my glove off: I didn't really want to see the damage!! but I did look, put the glove back on and went on splitting wood (with hydraulic splitter! I don't think I could have managed the manual way)

Cell coverage OK. Trying to control my carbon steed while holding a phone - not so much!
