Have I posted this previously? Not much has changed - the redness has more or less gone but the rest has stayed the same.
I expect the nail to fall off eventually and a nice new shiny one to be underneath.

Just a little ding, be better in no time!

I've got pictures to prove I was away.

Here's one of England (I went there first):
There are places in England you are allowed to not point the camera straight at the sky.

Besides, that is wonderful cricket weather.

You remind me, a couple of days back we got tipped out of the office for a fire alarm. The assembly point is a grass field, so we went there, but because of general wetness of the grass we stood on the path at the edge of the grass, so it was like watching cricket when the sky looks like that. Only we had no pavilion for the players to be drinking pints in. And, of course, an excuse for drinking pints in the pavilion was the purpose of the invention of cricket.

I was in the south.

Though on my holiday I saw five people carrying Pentax DSLRs, but didn't talk to any of them...
Oh, you went dangerously near the big shed of Racer's boss's main opponent.

Racer's boss's main opponent's conveyances have been dropping out of the sky lately. I still prefer 747's!

Not sure how we will come back.....depends on a lot of unknowns at this time, but if we come back your way I sure won't miss seeing the new little babies...you too, of course!

You guys will miss me.....well, not really, but it will give all the Mods a break from following me around!

It's a long trip, not sure I'm up to it, but I'll give it a shot. Used to be easy on long trips...now, not so much.

Regards to all my friends here.....you guys are all A-OK! Bert...he's just fine too!
You mean, we will only get Mod pre-approved posts from Rupert?

What is the world coming to?

My grandfather from St Arnaud referred to that as a situation which would cause one to say "oh".

Yeah. In the meantime there are a few inconveniences. As I said, buttons are a problem, particularly on the left cuff, even tying shoe laces in now done more carefully, but

.. wait for it...

for a few days back button AF was painful.

So many genitives in one sentence. And plurals do not have " 's ", only " s " at the end.

That's what happens when one's first language is not English!

I was on one of the last United 747 flights SYD to SFO, was fine. On another I had to lay on the floor for half hour to recover from low blood pressure. The LBP was a side effect of a medicine I was prescribed to prevent a different ailment which bit me hard on an AirNZ flight SFO to AKL, at the end of which I discovered my entitlement to free medical care in NZ.

"Never you mind about that", to quote a long time former Premier (for some of our foreign friends - that is kind of like 'Governor', which is not like the English usage of 'Guv') of Queensland. I know plenty of English as only language speakers who do not know, or at least practice, the rule that plurals do not have " 's " at the end.
